Introduction
Nasya is one of the five detoxification therapies under Panchakarma in Ayurveda. It involves the administration of herbal oils or powders through the nasal passages. According to Ayurveda, the nose is the doorway to the brain ("Nasa hi shiraso dwaram"), and Nasya helps clear accumulated toxins from the head, improving mental clarity, respiration, and even sleep.
Who Should Do Nasya?
Nasya is highly recommended for:
People suffering from sinusitis, headaches, allergies, or frequent colds
Those experiencing stress, anxiety, poor concentration, or disturbed sleep
Individuals with hair fall or premature greying
Professionals exposed to air pollution or long hours in AC rooms
